Working in partnership with Sunderland City Council and the Sunderland Partnership, Voluntary & Community Action Sunderland have subscribed to a resource redistribution system called WARPit on behalf of the Voluntary & Community Sector here in Sunderland.

 

WARPit is like a corporate Freecycle/ Ebay which allows members to access surplus resources which are not required by other organisations in the area.  It also allows members to upload resources for redistribution to others and also offers the opportunity to loan equipment. Resources include furniture, fixtures and fittings, office consumables - anything really. This is for our members only and is strictly only to be used for charity purposes.

We are encouraging all VCAS members to join the scheme and in doing so sharing the cost savings and benefits of WARPIT, at the same time, making great savings so you can use funding bids for alternative uses.
