About this deal

Perhaps she really is worried whats going to happen after all the last time you saw her you had a fall, you were hurt and even if she wasn't I bet it gave her quite a scare, for a horse to be on the floor is its most vunrable time she may feel like you put her at risk (only because you asked her to do the jump which caused the fall)

She'll walk towards me, just off to one side, still outside touching distance and then she'll get close enough to sniff 'the offering'. Finally she'll take it. One of my mares seems to be in season all year round! Stroppy and grumpy beast she is! She has Dodson And Horrell Stroppy Mare all year round, not sure if it's making any difference but would rather buy it that mess about with testing whether it works or not for the price! It's just a tub of herbs basically, good if you want to know what's in it! Yet my other mare is the softest thing you've ever met, when she's in season she's just a flirt basically, all the weeing at the boys, tail up and whinnying away when she sees another horse, wouldn't say it causes problems but I put her onto stroppy mare too when she comes in season, settles her down a little! Palmitic acid Palmitic acid (C16:0) is a saturated long-chain fatty acid found in plants and animals. It has a chemical structure of 16 carbon atoms with no double bonds. If your moody mare is struggling with a hormone imbalance, the Dodson & Horrell Stroppy Mare herbal blend may help.

Cobalt Cobalt is reqired to make vitamin B12 (cobalamin). In horses, cobalt is converted to Vitamin B12 by the hindgut microflora. Soz if this is all a bit garbled but, am burning the kids fish fingers and must go and do their tea (or what's left of it)............ In my riding career I have met up with and ridden two mares who have give me faithful service. It was with memories of them that I took on my Irish Huzzy - not realising that she was something different although perhaps I should have suspected something because she was sold as a 'project' horse. Neutral Detergent Fiber (NDF) Neutral Detergent Fiber is a measure of insoluble fiber and includes lignin, cellulose, and hemicellulose. NDF is inversely correlated with feed intake. Acid Detergent Insoluble Protein (ADIP) ADIP is the amount of protein that is bound to the ADF (insoluble fiber) fraction. Subtract this value from crude protein to determine available protein.

So with this type of horse, the owner must throw the rule books away. Judge for yourself if you can live with such horses. They are an acquired taste. Alpha-Linolenic acid Alpha-Linolenic acid (C18:3) is a polyunsaturated essential fatty acid. It is an omega-3 fatty acid because it has a final carbon double bond in the third position. Also you might think about what you are doing with her when you are actually working her. Can you make it less boring? Can you sometimes have shorter rides? Although I'm an English rider, I practiced barrel racing (well, barrel trotting) with my horse and it was a great break for both of us.

Threonine Threonine is the second limiting amino acid in equine diets. It is important for gut health and protein synthesis. She is no good for the purpose I bought her - long distance trail riding, just her and me. She is too suspicious of this human's world. You can't trust to stand by a busy road. She likes to go where she has been before. But I've grown to live with her. I see her virtues along with her problems. I've stopped thinking I can boss her about. I've stopped worrying that maybe she is using me. I've stopped thinking I can change her.
