After your ingredients bask in the fire’s warmth for a few seconds, they turn into a roasted variant of themselves--roasted meat, roasted apples, and so on.

To use a cooking pot, open your inventory, and select the ingredients you want to use. You can add up to five, and how much you add may determine the effect you get. Cooking one Rushroom provides a low-level speed boost that lasts for a short time, for example, but if you cook three, the boost lasts for longer. Rarer ingredients tend to offer stronger effects as well. The Staminoka Bass gives you a better stamina buff than the Stamella Mushroom or the stamina onion bulb.
